Daily Classroom Materials

Instrument and Bow

(in working condition)

• Get sized again and/or upgrade (check with your local instrument dealer/music store; ex. Day Violins or Music and Arts)

• Get bow re-haired if bow hair is thinning

• Violin/Viola players should get new strings if they haven’t been changed in the past year (Dominant strings suggested for Violin, Helicore strings suggested for Viola)

• Cello players should get new strings if they haven’t been changed in the past two years (Helicore strings suggested)

*Cellos and Basses will be available at Willard to be used by students during the school day. Additional Basses are available to be rented by students for home use. Rentals for all other instruments will be available for students who receive free/reduced lunch.
